Route 66 Mother Road Tour

Each year in mid-June, the Illinois Route 66 Mother Road Tour tours its way through Hamel, returning to a day back in time. These folk still stop to enjoy one of the many landmarks, such as Tourist Haven Restaurant and Hotel, now known as Weezy’s Route 66, LLC, to enjoy a bite to eat and an ice cold drink, meet friendly folks, see the vintage model cars, or maybe kick back and reminisce about Route 66.
